Hi, I’m Sayali Ghotikar—a Mumbai-born, Berlin-based illustrator and graphic designer.
After spending over 20 years in the world of graphic design, I found myself being quietly nudged by illustration—always lingering at the edges, waiting for its turn. Now, I’ve fully embraced this joyful, expressive part of my creative journey,
while continuing to work in graphic design as well.
My illustrations are rooted in everyday life—the silly, the sweet, and the wonderfully ordinary. I’m drawn to moments that feel familiar yet special, using bright, happy colors and a dash of whimsy to bring them to life.
Cats often sneak into my work (unsolicited, of course!),
and themes like JOMO—the Joy of Missing Out—show up often, reflecting my love for slow, mindful living.
Whether it's children's books, editorial work, branding, or print design, I love creating visuals that feel warm, playful, and honest.
